Considering they regulated masks this isn’t an absurd statement.
They’re going to regulate whistles before guns aren’t they?

One of the many things I love about my fellow Chicagoans. Also, we often let the elders who weren’t first in line board first anyway.
I totally forgot that Chicagoans outside of the Loop will, when approaching a bus stop, mentally note the order of who got there when, and then patiently wait in line in the rain once the bus arrives so everyone can board in arrival order.

Deeply bone tired of all the wickedness.

But working with @bkindivisible.bsky.social and @nywfp.bsky.social and @handsoffnyc.bsky.social, among many other fantastic groups in NYC, keeps me going.

Action absorbs anxiety, folks. And community beats fascism.

Things fall apart and the center cannot hold when billionaires use all of their influence to push for a culture, a government, and an economy that regularly bestow the highest rewards on literally the worst people in the world.

Just found out my friend has a surgery date for her kidney transplant. 😭

I have a relative who had a transplant, and I know the feeling of waiting for this. A relief for my friend and now anticipation. Sending her all the goodness and support in the world.

As someone in residential construction in Charlotte I can testify that the neighborhoods are empty. No one is working. They are saying they won't be back until border patrol is gone. Not like we are already struggling with unaffordable housing.

The federal blitz moved to Charlotte, but the trauma and damage in Chicago are still with us—and DHS says 1,000 agents will hit our streets in March. I wrote about what this moment demands of us: care, clarity, and preparation.
What Now, Chicago? Regrouping After Midway Blitz
Let’s make this a winter of fortification, of learning, and bonding together like the winter snow that federal agents are so afraid of.

I actually think it's funny they used "Operation Charlotte's Web."

The smart female protecting her home wins.
It's about solidarity.
The vicious murderers are thwarted by creativity.

Are none of these goons literate, even at a third grade level?

I didn't have to meet Jeffrey Epstein to be a victim. I was 15.

This issue won't die because these survivors, and survivors of other predators worldwide, will not let it.

We do it for who we are now, and for the girl we lost back then.
NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

(Painting is therapeutic. Something healing, and it makes me happy. ❤️)

I usually group my paintings based on theme or color. My 5 water lilies theme, which I do when I am unsure what to paint.

The 5 flowers each represent different things--love, faith, hope, etc. These were pandemic paintings. Ideas to hold onto during rough times...

It is very funny that this Pope is just going to get jerseys from now on. Everyone decided that's what this Pope likes and that is it. It's like if your grandmother got you a puzzle for Christmas one year and you said you liked it so your entire extended family is like "oh that's the puzzle kid"
Spike Lee just blessed Pope Leo with a custom Knicks jersey during his visit to the Vatican, just one week after the Pope was gifted a custom Chicago Bulls one.
