I don't think most Americans have any idea how dangerous it is for a president to declare an entire ethnic group to be "garbage." This is how the worst atrocities in human history have begun.

This is profoundly un-American.

No—that's not right.

It's *anti*-American.

It's hatred of the United States and its founding documents and all its people and all its traditions.

The person who wrote and approved this is a weirdo who detests everything that America stands for.

Hey, Mr. Cuban.
Oncologist here.
The entirety of cancer care, including diagnostics, surgery, medications, and treatment of complications can often exceed $100,000 dollars.
And many people with CURABLE cancer decide to forgo treatment fearing the cost to their families.
The system is immoral.

If I decided it was too much bother to clean my house so I moved into an igloo in Antarctica for the rest of my life, you'd think I was awful stupid.
Tech bros deciding they'd lose too much profit if they stopped destroying the Earth because they can move to Mars someday is even stupider.

Turning Point volunteer snitches aren't just demanding that teachers allow Preacher-says-it-and-that-settles-it answers and essays; they also want to drive out teachers who demand actual work instead, which will quickly destroy the school system -- and which is probably their main goal.
Worth noting that the student admits that she just threw the thing together in 30 minutes without reading the paper she was supposed to be responding to.

Even 5 years ago if you had told me CBS News would go this way whereas the WSJ wouldn’t it would have surprised me — ultimately I think purveyors of business news are the only ones insulated from these dynamics because when rich people are paying you for market-moving news you can’t mess around.

It was hard to convince Americans torture is wrong as a moral principle during Bush's term, and that was with the debate about whether torture makes us safer. I'm afraid for a portion of Trump's base, that calculation matters less. Idea of torturing undocumented immigrants may even bring pleasure.
