"haha, they're so absurd. they think it is gay to be attracted to women" is the worst gotcha liberals have because without unpacking the biases they have about the world they're incapable of understanding how deeply wrong they are about the nature of straightness.
I sort of wish y'all took this more seriously, because this attitude is a reinforcement of heterosexuality as a hierarchy. It's an acknowledgement and understanding that it's not enough to "be with" a woman, or even to father children.
