We used to take our bikes and zig zag to the park in alley ways, vacant lots and along train tracks, in one of Montreal's roughest neighbourhood. During the biker wars. I touched SO MUCH TRASH. It RULED.
Absolute truth. We’d drop our books and disappear into the cornfield, or the pine forest, or the hardwood jungle in the creek bottom. Total HUCK FINN wild roaming savages.

I just got mine by the mail and it blew me away. I love looking at an artist's sketches/drawings and wonder how they did it. What pen was it, what's that texture, is it digital, is it analog? What a great feeling. Great artbook!!

I am certain that whenever someone posts about “gatekeeping art” or whatever, they’re talking about posting drawings online for clicks. They never mean arranging rocks in the back yard. They never mean whistling to yourself and finding a tune that makes you happy. They never mean napkin doodles.

J'ai trouvé le très beau lineart d'une rare illustration de "pin up" de Josie. Ça trainait dans une boite de planches originales parce que mon archivage fait aucun sens. Je vais sacrer ça dans mon portfolio et voir s'il va trouver preneur en festival ou autre ;)

I kinda hate that I had to re-re-re-re install a time tracking app because guilt is my only motivator for work right now.

This is insane.
I just got this notification from this trial Meta is conducting. For art to be seen, fees are required. No more likes because your work is interesting to ppl, it is all just paid access to huge audiences. And these are just starting fees, they go up after a month. 👎😬😭
