So, to clarify, spray-painting a plane is terrorism, holding a sign to support the organisation those that spray-painted the plane were members of is terrorism, but taking a foreign head of state hostage needs to wait for a press conference from the hostage taker for nuance?

I got to meet James Baxter this year! It wasn't even about this, he was just at a barbecue. He was very nice. Shout out to Perry Allen who did these amazing chae designs (and much more besides!)

JJK modulo spoilers - I'm still not sure how I feel about this series (I'm not sure how I feel about JJK in general tbh) but this stuff intrigues me. This feels quite togashi-esque in a good way

i finished Silksong! 87% completion but im gonna leave it at that, i don't always like 100%ing stuff when it's just looking through a shopping list of stuff on a wiki and i'm fine with just having encountered the stuff i encountered naturally.

It's a weird manga tonally but I'm enjoying Hoshin Engi. Sci-fi sort-of-retelling of a famous Chinese epic about gods and demons but with some fun Toriyama-esque metahumor

it's scary how clearly manufactured the outrage is that's now led to the director of the BBC resigning. i know the BBC isn't perfect but it's one of the better english language news sources and it can't/shouldn't bow to disingenuous pressure like this from the far right

i keep thinking to myself i should have streamed silksong from the beginning! it's a really fun time and i think it would have made good streaming material. i tentatively want to stream hades 2 soon since i streamed the first game and that was really fun

i used to go this regular life drawing class they held in a cafe after hours just off brick lane and the memory of it is so vivid. it was a tiny space but in the winter it would be so packed your glasses would steam up immediately upon stepping in. served really nice food too, sandwiches & stuff
