Trump to Saudi Crown Prince: We’ve always been on the same side of every issue.

Really? The majority of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia.

Well, Trump is basically rolling out the red carpet for Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi prince long accused of ordering the brutal 2018 murder of U.S.-resident journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and acting like it’s just another boardroom negotiation.

“MBS of course also ordered the killing and ghastly dismembering of Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey in 2018. A member of a prominent Saudi family himself, Khashoggi self-exiled from the kingdom in 2017 shortly after MBS seized power and cracked down on the press.”

There are few things that Trump says that are shocking to me, or anyone else stuck in this warped doom loop that is paying attention to American politics in 2025. But Trump’s remarks today demonizing murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi and defending the Saudi crown prince were an exception.

The President of the United States justified the murder of a journalist by saying "A lot of people didn't like that gentleman". Chew on that for awhile.

The de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia was branded a pariah in 2018 after the killing of a Washington Post columnist. Now, U.S.-Saudi relations are nearing a high point.

All this for the Saudi government that funded the 9/11 attacks and murdered an American journalist. This is traitorous. Period.
And they had horses, too..

In case folks forgot what happened, Khashoggi entered a Saudi consulate in Istanbul to get a document so he could get married while his fiancée waited outside. He never left because he was murdered and dismembered with a bone saw inside the building. The US intel community said MBS ordered it.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Good for Mary Bruce. Way to put the Chutney Chomo and the murderous Saudi Crown Prince on the spot.

She's a hero.

The Saudi Crown Prince had Khashoggi dismembered in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul.

Dismembered while still alive.

But Khashoggi gave his phone to his fiancee and went in with his Apple Watch recording.

His watch was connected to his phone.

It captured the gruesome audio of his brutal killing.

Jamal Khashoggi was employed by an American news company @wsj.com

He worked as a journalist in America.

He was a permanent resident of the US.

Just read below what the Saudi Crown Prince did to him.

This is what Trump is glorifying.

This is what Trump loves, people being heinously murdered.

Trump defends the Saudi Crown Prince’s butchering of a US-based journalist because he’s infuriated he can’t do the same to anyone who moderately criticizes him, yet.

He is already throwing our neighbors in concentration camps, & he must be stopped before he does to them what was done to Khashoggi

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Here’s the thing about healthcare premiums about to skyrocket: they will never come back down, short of a complete overhaul of our system for universal healthcare. Which clearly won’t happen bc of all the money tied up between health and politics.

US government spent $100.3 billion on SNAP last fiscal year & that was still only 1.5% of our budget. SNAP feeds 40 million people.

Replacing that is bonkers.

We have to do it anyway.
