It's often not spoken of enough that Brandon Small's Galaktikon of 2012 was one of the most epic metal albums released in the new millennium.

It has all the requirements and some extras to set your spine alight and dazzle your guts.

First listen? Crank it up. Ttfn

I love how the alien in Alien Earth gets around the ship. Straight up Axel Rose'n it's way down the halls to eat people. Solid

Alien Earth has been a fun ride so far. I'm on episode 4 and I'm excited for what's to come.

After installing our 740cfm range hood (and venting it outside) it's decidedly easier to use poly or waterlox or spirits.

I set a plastic divider up to keep the vapors and dust in the kitchen and it's neat to see the makeup air being delivered. On the clean side there is not a slight odor. 🖖

I've been remodeling the kitchen this week, having taken some time off of work. I'll probably post pictures but also, I'm actually not sure I will.

Anyhow I'm pleased with the outcomes so far. The family is happy too and we all look forward to the sink and dishwasher returning for use.

Reminder that Julius Streicher was hanged for running Dur Sturmer.

He was, in fact, the first person sentenced to death at Nuremburg.

Fun fact: the hangman purposely fucked up, causing him to die slowly and in excruciating agony conscious the whole time.

I just like to post these data from time to time to puncture the mythological aura of mid 20th c protests. They were less popular than pretty much any 21st c mass action & people criticizing them used the same lines. Protest is about people coming together, shaping narratives, & building power.

This is a view from the surface of Comet 67P.

The busy particles in the foreground are cosmic rays or bits of dust and ice.

The dots moving in the background are stars.

Remember when steaks were so cheap you could use them to treat black eyes? I don't either and I'm 41.

Posting into the void that is my bluesky account is still better than whatever the fuck became of the other socials where I used to exist.

It's freeing in an isolated sort of way. Time for dinner.

Umpires are just sports-principals. You cannot argue with them and if they decide to throw you out they can.

I was never good at baseball for this reason (and only this reason).

Reading resumes and the names eventually pushes my mind to develop short one person musical/ plays based on the experience each person provides.

It's fun but also gets exhausting when I can't figure out how their big number musical section goes.

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.
