Wake up, scream “holy SHIT how is this STILL going on?!”, take the dog out, make some coffee, weep openly for the loss of consensus reality, shower, brush teeth, put on clothes, make breakfast, go to work, dissociate, come home, drugs, bed.

i've owned three, now 2 topcoats, two inherited and one bought for me (by someone fashion-competent!) and all have been too big, i gave the biggest away and haven't been inclined to "find a tailor" to get the other two brought in. i pretty much wear them to weddings and funerals

i don't know what the derek guy take on overcoats is, but i reckon in contemporary anglo NA and UK for the lads n fellas spectrum they go better with upper middle shelf+ formality register, or at least have something interesting going on in the lapel-scarf zone
The fucking cheap but extraordinarily long overcoat and purple t-shirt combo is killing me, man. I have never seen someone so incapable of dressing themselves

USRC Thetis logkeeper struggling with the Russian name of a seaman (should be Constantine Yakovlev - Яковлев in his language). After Jokoflef, Jokofleff and Jkofliff he gives up and write just Constantine 😄

Luckily I could link all these names, sometimes it can be tricky

✨ A few years back I stood outside Wells Cathedral for a full day and photographed the impact of the light on the front facade. I was amazed at the outcome - at how a single entity could morph and change under the changing light. 🌅 #thread

This is a legitimate scientific revolution in meteorology.

Also, to be clear, these models are not the AI LLMs that most people are familiar with. They are machine learning algorithms trained on observations (actually reanalysis).

but really, i wasn't planning around here with the scotchbrite and a dremel all day. i'm OK if the oven cleaning experience has some john clark Ignition! aspects to it

across all cultural milieux, reviewers basically agree that the portions, presentation, and quality served by the Diner Dimension is "fine, basically"

its a judgment that year by year becomes increasingly irrelevant as the Earth analogues disappear outside nostalgia parks and heritage settings
