Wish I could find the beautiful horror in the mundane the way Denis Johnson does in going bowling amid the backdrop of the Viet Nam War.
Sometimes people get “amazing band” confused with “I know those guys.” This is one of those instances where I’ll say this band is remarkable *and* I’m grateful to call the terrific artists it consists of my friends. (Clearly used up my writing talent copyediting what Jim came up with for the bio.)

If your position is that Democrats have no choice but to agree, than you are impliedly admitting the Democrats are no longer an opposition party because the cost of opposition is too high, and we are effectively a one party fascist state.

Here's another bit of conventional wisdom Zohran completely blew away: His speech was at well above a 10th-grade level. It was complex, erudite, punctuated by deep and fluent references. You don't have to condescend to voters with baby talk! Part of re-establishing norms is speaking like an adult.

Relax, everyone. The rich guy in charge of a company that’s too big to fail says the economy is “still in pretty good shape.” Not a thing to be concerned about. Especially with the AI infrastructure he credits.
