The new Pope didn't tweet once in 2024. In 2025, he's posted 5 times, in which he:

- Criticized JD Vance's views on Catholicism and Jesus
- Posted an article opposing Trump's immigration policies
- Retweeted twice about the Pope's health
- Retweeted a criticism of Trump & Bukele's laughter at KAG.

people keep saying they want Pizzaballa, but you know they change their name once they become pope, right? if he wins, his name will probably become something generic like Pope Pennevodka VII

literally a zero percent chance that the entire contents of Pete Hegseth’s phone aren’t being passed around right now like the fattest blunt the entire world of international intrigue has ever seen
NEW damning details on Pete Hegseth:

Minutes before U.S. jets hit Yemen, Gen. Kurilla sent strike intel through a secure gov system. Hegseth turned around and dropped it in at least two Signal chats—on his personal phone.

Jet timing. Target locations. And he still has the job.

Hi it's me, the cat. Brushing your teeth, eh? Or shaving or something? I don't actually know, I'm just a cat. Just wondering if you needed somebody to nuzzle anything you set down too close to the edge of the counter and knock it on the floor. Deodorant, cologne bottle, whatever. Here for you boo

I need some good news, so here’s a dog that saved a lost 2 year old. 12/10 a real good boy
Missing toddler who walked 7 miles alone through Arizona wilderness led to safety by rancher's dog
The rancher traced the boy’s steps and discovered that Buford, an Anatolian Pyrenees who normally patrols his land and wards off coyotes, had escorted the 2-year-old for at least a mile.

the american electoral system is basically 500,000 information-resistant people across a handful of states taking a guess and then going "haha! oops!" every two years. this process takes 18 months and costs four trillion dollars every time

US media is shielded by some of the strongest free-speech protections in the world, and is still choosing to completely cave and self-censor even the mildest criticism of Dear Leader.

Cowardly and unconscionable doesn't even begin to describe it.
Seth Rogen said President Trump had “single-handedly destroyed all of American science” while presenting an award at the Breakthrough Prize ceremony — sometimes called the “Oscars of Science” — where Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg were in attendance. Rogen's comments were cut from the broadcast.

While presenting an award at the Breakthrough Prize ceremony this month, Mr. Rogen said President Trump had “single-handedly destroyed all of American science.”

Is Kilmar Abrego Garcia alive? Because the amount of resistance to addressing his being trafficked gives the distinct impression that either he is dead or what they have done to him is so unspeakable that they cannot afford for him to be freed, seen, or spoken with.

Started playing Hard space: Shipbreaker last night. It's quite good, somehow both relaxing and stressful. The emotional equivalent of salt & vinegar.

Frostpunk, as a game, is excellent & its scenario packs add some real spice to it once the Main Story is accomplished.

But man, there really is nothing quite like that 1st attempt, having absolutely no idea what you're doing & helplessly watching as the relentless winter just buries you alive

Real talk, why don't more car companies do something like this, where they make a new car in the style of a previous era of car design? Not like, all the time, but every so often just sprinkle one in.
this hyundai ev concept is the aesthetic i want in my electric car, i want to feel like a cyberpunk private detective with a drinking problem and an ex wife thats rooting for me
