The BBC did not create the impression that Trump orchestrated January 6th.

Trump himself created that impression, through his speeches on the day and in advance.

He was indicted by Congress for it and only escaped a criminal trial by... becoming president again.

I’ve heard it say that Nigel Farage has no less than seventeen nipples spread over his chest and back.

I’m, of course, not saying it’s true, but we have no evidence saying otherwise.

It could be true, we just don’t know.

That’s how this works, right?

Phenomenal. In my 10 year update of A Brief History, I make the point that in the first edition, not one disease had been successfully treated using gene therapy. Today that number is at least 7.

This is the message the country needs to hear relentlessly. Never allow the populists to hide behind 'legitimate concerns'. Take them head on. The flags belong to all of us.

Good job. Let's never have the political vacuum we had over the Summer again.

A political party, that's topping the polls, lauding someone who called for human beings to be burned to death should be a moment for national self-reflection.

This is not who we are nor who we should become.

Reform UK are a plague on our national humanity. We must never permit them to govern.

It's good to see that Labour hold themselves to higher standards, but when you look at what Rayner and Haigh were forced out for, it is absolutely trivial and wouldn't even show as a rounding error in comparison to what a hundred or more Tory ministers and MPs got away with scot-free.
