"We couldn't let them (Venezuela) get away with it", says Trump.

"A lot of bad people leading", he says.

"Make a lot of money for the people", he says.

Ukraine, meanwhile: 🤦🙇‍♀️

If you look at the men & the think tanks behind Brexit, it is the exact same men & the exact same think tanks behind Trump, and the exact same media too. Maybe one day people will see this.

These terrible men. They gambled wth our country, our security, our futures so lightly. A reckless referendum called to manage party politics, then hijacked by people who never believed in it, never planned for it & were never honest abt th consequences. Never forgiven or forgotten. Always angry.
10th Anniversary of Brexit 🇪🇺🇬🇧 -
Cameron admitting Johnson only backed Brexit as a career punt. Johnson didn’t believe a word of it. He gambled the country for his own ego, assumed Remain would win, then rode the chaos like a lying opportunist. #ukpolitics

17 is doing her EPQ on GenAI. No clear focus as yet, but she's esp interested in both the environmental impact and impact on human creativity. She's obvs doing her own research, but if anyone has any books, articles etc that spring to mind, references will be gratefully received and passed on 💜🙏

I thought Adolescence was phenomenal and that two-hander episode three was completely captivating but there was so much great stuff this year.

I also loved Severance, Silo, Slow Horses, The Morning Show, Apple Cider Vinegar, Dope Thief. What about you??

An exceptional cast, astonishing directing and the talent discovery of the decade – not to mention a plot so of-the-moment it was discussed in parliament. This may actually have been perfect TV

Christmas may be over, but spring is on the way. There’s a quiet joy in seeing snowdrops poke through the soil and trees begin to stir along the canal, nature’s gentle reminder that brighter days are coming.

💯 agree ⬇️ And then some.

Age gap discourse is just plausible deniability for rapists and abusers and it's been systematically normalised forever to the point you're framed as some sort of uptight, woke killjoy if you challenge it. 1/9
There’s been such a massive surge in “well, she wasn’t under eighteen so it’s fine“. This is one million percent the fault of the corrosive age gap discourse that constantly rages. And that is why it rages, too. So ancient men can exploit employees. As long as they’re over eighteen it’s fine, right?
