if they marketed their little chat bots as glorified personal assistants, hey siri, what's the difference between eggplants and courgettes, they'd have a decent product with an identifiable niche.

instead steal everyone's stuff and scream THE WORLD IS CHANGED 4EVER which outs them as total weirdos
What a great headline

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we remember the bright and courageous trans people whose lives were stolen by hatred. Their absence is felt across our city.

We will honor them by building a New York where every trans person can live safely, fully and freely.

at this point, most people are familiar with the “paperclip problem” of AI, but something about it always bothered me, and it’s the main thing i hope people take away from this essay.

"I love public transit, but I hate people," is SUCH a relatable mood, lemme tell you.
I love public transport and I love the idea of Berlin’s public transport network but after over a decade of using it I’m just so fucking tired of having to be around Berliners on it. Like the trains are great but I can’t be surrounded by people watching TikTok on speaker every damn day…

Blades in the dark score:
A demon posing as an old god demands an offering of creativity. He’s actually syphoning life force from artists sacrificed to the demon. Meanwhile, the demon is posing as a genius artist and devouring the life force at salons.

The demons name is Copilot.

The crime of genocide didn't exist until after WW2. It was something we decided was real, needed to be identified and punished. Even if we've been spectacularly bad at putting it in practise, we conceptualised it.

I think it's about time for a CEO crime of murder-by-Economy.

I'm in full agreement with IGN's 9 out of 10 review of Dispatch.

I finished it last night & absolutely loved it. It is a true revival of the Telltale game (it's made by ex-Telltale devs). It's funny, well-written & the strategy game layer is surprisingly fun. Play it!
