Just saw someone trying to argue that the rise of the far right in Germany is only due to racism and queerphobia has nothing to do with it and I’m so tired. Hate crimes are way up, queer people are terrified, homo- and transphobia is explicitly in their party programs, these are CONNECTED ISSUES!
Mind you these cops have PLENTY of capacity to defend Nazi marches from counter protestors but protecting a queer person who has people actively trying to harm him isn’t an option apparently.
