The degree to which major college football writers seem to be trying to hard sell the University of Michigan into selling part of its revenue to some fund managers in San Francisco is a bit perplexing to me

If msu hadn’t been offsides on that play they would’ve been down 3 on their side of the 50 early in the third in a game where they had two productive drives all game. Stop whining

I'm not looking forward to Arsenal fans being INSUFFERABLE but there is something funny about how Chelsea grew season on season, becoming the best team in England, trying to replicate Arsenal's UWCL success only to keep falling short (WOB then Barcelona) and then out of nowhere, Arsenal did it again
Arsenal have spent more of the last decade failing to qualify for the Champions League than playing it in, got knocked out of the first round of qualifcation last season - four months after a particuarly dramatic ET SF loss the previous season - and bounced back by winning the whole thing.

There should never be any neutral-site college football games except for the annual national championship in the Rose Bowl
my feeling watching the pregame scenes this weekend is that nothing before the semifinals should ever be at a bowl site again, and probably it should just be the national championship game. bowls, we appreciate your service and your watch has ended
