I hadn't actually watched this clip until now but Kilmeade doesn't say "euthanize" or anything like that.

there's no reason to euphemize his language, the man is talking about murder.

I have written and deleted a lot of posts but I keep thinking about how the brutal assassination of Minnesota State senator Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark, and their beloved dog Gilbert in June did not prompt this same level of calls for empathy, sympathy, and flags at half-mast.

The people that risk their lives defending our country don’t enjoy freedom of speech.

Cool little Constitution you’ve got there, America.
“.. I can’t remember anyone ever telling me we can’t say anything critical about a civilian like this. He was not in our chain of command or anything,” the officer said.

WSJ owes an explanation, as does the FBI. Who dumped that crap into their bulletins? If not the same person, who leaked it? Why does either person still have a job? Congress should demand answers immediately.
1. In the immediate aftermath of Charlie Kirk's shooting, the WSJ laundered claims that "transgender symbols" were found with the shooter's gun.

Now, a press conference reveals that NO such symbols were found.

WSJ owes a full retraction and apology.

Press Conference: No "Transgender" Or "LGBTQ" Symbols Found At Kirk's Shooting
Yesterday, several media outlets claimed or strongly implied that "transgender symbols" were found at the scene of the gun used by Charlie Kirk's shooter. This turned out to be false.

Too bad the GOP effectively criminalized studying how information moves online and news orgs laid off and demonized all the reporters who covered the burgeoning online accelerationist performative death cults. All of that work was somehow "censorship" that needed to be stopped. Now we're here.

The real issue isn’t left vs right.

It’s not white vs black.

It’s not citizen vs immigrant.

It’s not gay vs straight.

The real issue is that a lot of powerful people have a vested interest — and a lot of money invested — in dividing us, and it’s working.

the packers have 25 individual QB seasons that would break the record for the most passing yards in a year by a bears quarterback
Very annoying that Green Bay literally has had zero seasons of bad quarterbacking in 35 years. Come on now.

My dad first signed up for Twitter to follow live sports and he’s a freak about U of I. One day he said to me “Twitter is abuzz about Illini golf,” and I was like dude you only follow Illini sports accounts. And that’s how every reporter feels Charlie Kirk was the most important person in the world.

Pablo has contributed more to NBA reporting in a week than Simmons did for however long he sat on the Countdown desk.
I can't believe Bill Simmons called Pablo Torre a fake journalist and since then he's destroyed the evil NFL union leaders and is currently dropping Steve Ballmer in a volcano

All-timer run happening right now

It’s not that I don’t care, it’s that I remember Uvalde, Sandy Hook, and Annunciation. I remember the photos of their aftermaths and we as a nation did nothing.

If we did nothing for the kids, why should we expect more for someone who believed in making life worse for so many?

I have a couple of comments about the "free speech hero" narrative about Charlie Kirk.

First, was Charlie Kirk really notable for supporting the free speech of people he disagreed with? I haven't noticed that, though I could have missed it.

The policing of "tone" and "civility" and "incitement" is always completely one-sided.
So MSNBC reportedly fired Matthew Dowd tonight just hours after Jesse Watters called for his "immediate" termination over his Charlie Kirk shooting comments.

Meanwhile, Watters said he's going to "avenge" Kirk's death because "they are at war with us" -- and he'll face no repercussions from Fox.

As someone who spent many hours listening to Kirk’s show on AM radio, I would say that he made Rush Limbaugh seem like Walter Cronkite by comparison, in terms of rhetorical tone and empirical rigor. The subtext of every show was “You don’t hate the left enough.”

"Putting solar arrays above water can help keep panels cool, in turn improving their efficiency and electricity output. Shade from the panels can also prevent water loss through evaporation in drought-prone regions and can limit algae growth in waterways." Looks good too!
California's first solar-covered canal is now fully online
The 1.6-MW pilot system is among a growing number of initiatives to put solar over waterways. The approach could generate gigawatts of power nationwide.
