Importantly, this wouldn't have passed without Dem support. There was enough of a split within Republican ranks that if Dems had voted against the bill it would've been doa. Giving Trump a blank check to warmonger *and* passing an anti-trans measure was a choice.

This is one of the *many* reasons it is important for folks who can do so to follow ICE around town. If they are tailed by 15 moms in their crossovers, it's more likely someone will be there to help when they dump a neighbor into a snowbank to die.

This defeatism doesn’t help anything. We are all aware of the challenges in Texas. But the idea that you simply don’t try because bigotry is a defining feature is wrong
She's in freakin' Texas, though. (As am I, but working VERY hard on leaving.) They have issues here with democrats, women, and anyone with brown skin. I sure hope she wins, I love her energy, but again, she's in freakin' Texas.

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.
