We really are burying the part claiming Lost is the greatest show of all time.
“Ol’ Bluecheck Tom” is my Vegas stage name
Wasting your time. Ol bluecheck Tom knows good/well the article he is basing his entire argument on is nonsense a+ even if it were true, so what? There are plenty of of articles, quotes + podcasts where the creators and cast discuss the brilliance and message behind the show. Still best show ever.

My personal opinion is the first 2 seasons of Alias are great and then it goes off the rails.
Yep
Strong agree. The Mystery Box is an abuse of viewers that must feel very liberating to writers, for whom no decision is irreversible. ALIAS is the worst example of this, I think, and set the stage for the rest.

I feel the same way about Zeppelin like I do the Beatles and T-Swift. I can see the appeal but it just does not really hit for me.

Music is not a litmus test folks!
Finding my people
Hard agree. Plant’s voice is unpleasant to me, and the word the music brings to mind is turgid. No offense, Clem.

People will be shocked to know that Ohio used to be considered the bellweather for Presidential Elections.
Those states change over time. People think the Red/Blue patterns never change, because they want to have the outcome they want right now.
MA/VT were once solidly GOP, as was CA (even in my youth a super-GOP state)
Is the point to spend time in a state you hardly have a chance of winning, versus a state you have a chance of swinging in your direction?

That's the issue with the Electoral College as it is.

And he told you a women who he supported IN THE PRIOR ELECTION. We might need to figure out how to add in Reading Comprehension to the STEM focus in schools.
Also, ageist
This old Republican dude: "You are in capable of seeing anything beyond gender" 🤣🤣🤣 All because I asked him if there is any woman politician he'd support for President

2. Not photoshopped, he's actually this big. Sitting atop St. John Arena as one does, bored by the fireworks going off near his head
3. Expect his ranking to jump several hundred spots now because *karate chop hand gestures* recruiting is an exact science

Hope @timmiller.bsky.social talks CLT today....3 thoughts about the Queen City from a resident:

1) ICE clearly is focusing on where Home Depots are located.

2) ICE kills food delivery immediately

3) CLT & CHI are huge new cons't markets. I would watch the big builders this qtr to see impacts.
When DHS dared to call its anti-immigrant racial profiling weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina, “Operation Charlotte’s Web,” I knew I was going to have to write about it.

Just want to thank @radiofreetom.bsky.social for his continued patience in interacting and educating here. I subscribed earlier this year to the @theatlantic.com because of him. You should too...especially if you disagree with him.
Democrats had a big enough tent for pro-life Dems - who were never going to sway the party off of being pro-choice, but were added to the coalition for things like control of the legislature and all other issues Dems care about.
idk man, i think the women who could get necessary abortions and didn't die of pregnancy complications are pretty fond of that electoral tradeoff

Shocking that a Media Company started by a bunch of former Republican Neo-cons might have some viewpoints that are counter to progressive mob on twitter lite. The purity testing from both sides is one reason we got into this mess. Proud to be a Bulwark+ member and encourage you to do the same!
If you lined up all the people in the country Ezra Klein is probably in the top 15/20% for most progressive, Joe Manchin is in top 45/50%. If you are incapable of listening to these people you have cocooned yourself to a degree that is unhealthy.

I love my listeners and my job.
Wow. Grills, Klein and Manchin in short order, @timmiller.bsky.social from @thebulwark.com either hates his listeners or his job.

I'm a Tom Clancy/Vince Flynn guy. Always was intrigued by the Jack Reacher Series. After seeing some clips from the show and below....I'll just go read Elmore Leonard. #justifed
"Reacher, but with the kind of muscles a man living an itinerant lifestyle would develop"(*) would be an approach, for sure.

(*) An early book opens after he's spent time digging swimming pools. He's so much more jacked than normal that his pecs are able to stop a bullet from penetrating his chest!
Yeah, the funniest thing they could possibly do would let him dirty bulk for a few months before season 3 shoots. The “dadbod apocalypse” thinkpieces would crash society.
