Vile bigotry is the first thing, and the second thing is how would Tommy Tuberville know about mounting any kind of defense from anything
Not headline news. No real fuss by Democratic leaders. No calls to censure. No pushback. No questions asked of GOP leadership by the press.

Just totally accepted anti-Muslim bigotry across the board.

The New York Times investigated 346 people who donated at least $250,000 to Trump and found that more than half of them (197) have received pardons, jobs, government contracts, special treatment, or favors.
Hundreds of Big Post-Election Donors Have Benefited From Trump’s Return to Office
Well into his second term, the president and his allies have continued aggressively raising money. Many donors have interests before his administration, The Times found.

Eberflus' defense has given miles of free space this entire drive.

Disgustingly soft coverage in a situation where Minnesota just needed a field goal.

Not really an interesting point anymore, but the number of Democratic crises caused by old people not shuffling their bones offstage (Ginsburg 2014, Biden 2022-23, Feinstein 2018) was really remarkable.

The acceleration of oligarchy will continue to be so jarring it will be hard to grasp in real time. I'm not sure I've come to grips with Elon Musk, an unelected South African billionaire, representing the United States government in international negotiations. It's something beyond corruption.

Caleb Williams was bad on Sunday but I don’t think we should weigh that game more than his first nine just because it was more recent, and arguably we should weigh it less because of how terrible everyone else on the team was

If he wasn't a powerful and litigious white supremacist, what Elon's going through would be deeply sad. He clearly has a bottomless need for approval, has been used to getting it for years and is now destroying his life to seek it out from the dwindling number of losers willing to give it to him.
