Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

When you could code silly quizzes on Facebook, it was FULL of "what would you be in medieval times?!" etc.

I made one that nearly always answered "died as a child", "died in childbirth", "lived and died as a servant"

People got SUPER mad with it.

Everyone assumes they'll be at the top of the tree
The subtext of ‘we should be more like Dubai’, beyond the obvious racism, is ‘I should have a servant’.

The fact that an anti-migrant politician, who tells us every single day that he doesn't like immigration, is saying it once again, is not in any way news

'Immigration doesn't bother me but it seems to bother everyone else' – Everyone.

This is what happens when the media runs away with Hard Right narratives.

Boss. I'm tired boss. We been doing these experiments and studies since the 60s and 70s and the outcome has been the same in them all.

The pushback against these measures aren't because they don't work. It's because they DO work and they'll include peoples they wish to exclude from society.
Germany gave people €1,200/month no strings attached.

They kept working, slept better, switched to better jobs, and even gave more to others.

Turns out, when people aren’t drowning, they swim further.

#UBI doesn’t kill ambition, it frees it.

There is a common misconception, amplified by certain politicians and pundits who claim the whole world wants to come to their country, that seeking asylum, in general, is easy. It isn't. Imagine you had to flee from your home right now. What would you take. 1/
To where pray tell? Tehran is the most populated city in Western Asia. Most people, in general, cannot afford to just up and leave. Are the countries supporting Israeli strikes planning on ensuring Iranian civilians have access to routes out and asylum? No, of course not. 1/

What do we think?🤔

Hmm…. A Daily Mail headline so clearly designed to make you furious.

Being shared by salivating Tory MPs who love a good rage farming story!

So, what’s going on here?

Let’s take a look!👀

One is the world’s most powerful man, the other is world’s richest man.

One has the codes for the nuclear weapons, the other has nearly all of your personal data.

But which one is better…

I'm deadly serious in saying that one incredibly cheap way for the Government to make a tangible improvement to British social cohesion and cultural impact is to pass a law requiring all new TV remotes to have an iPlayer button.
I love how a decade of reinventing TV later we’ve ended up with “Brits just want to watch old ITV dramas and Channel 5 documentaries but they don’t know where to find them until you let them just hit the big Netflix button on their remote”.

It’s overwhelmingly mothers who fight these SEND battles, who leave their jobs, who have their lives turned upside down, & who keep on fighting for others

I wonder if the No10 strategy and comms bros who’ll sign this off have clocked this
