In the seven months we’ve been in this house all our books have been in boxes in the living room. Schuyler’s were in storage for three years before that. Today our giant Amish-made bookcases finally arrived, and I have unpacked and cataloged and merged almost everything.

We’ve been rockhounding the last couple of years without the tools to actually cut and polish the rocks. We discovered on the last visit to my parents that my dad actually has a full setup, so we brought up our buckets for Thanksgiving and started cutting.
