Have you noticed that when King Donald the Mad doesn’t want to answer a question he simply insults the journalist and the insult becomes the story rather than the fact that he ducked the question.

... and no-one challenges him for it!

Our plan would cut your energy bills, slash VAT for hospitality, and put £270 back in your pocket.

Have I understood #Labour's pitch for #GE2029?

Vote for Labour to implement Reform-like policies to stop Reform implementing them?

[Labour seems to see Reform as a threat to Labour staying in power rather than a threat to the country, communities & institutions we hold dear]

Poland has ordered Russia to close its consulate in Gdańsk in response to last week's sabotage of a rail line by agents working for Moscow.

The decision means that all of Russia's consulates in Poland have now been closed down, with only the embassy in Warsaw remaining.

My hard-working and excellent local councillor was deselected because he objected to Starmer's "rivers of strangers" speech.
He was instrumental in their canvassing and nobody else seems motivated to take over and get out the vote.

These are the voters that Labour strategists have made very clear over a long period of time that they don't want any more, and it's a message that has now been heard
I've been out canvassing quite a lot in London lately. Labour's vote has absolutely evaporated.... it is quite extraordinary to go to places where Labour were on 50-60% of the vote at the last locals and find nobody, or virtually nobody, supporting them.

Mmm. I've got several things in common w Nigel Farage. Born 60s Lond/home counties, white & middle class, paternal grandad a WW1 infantryman. Even went to the same school (not quite at the same time, I'm a little older). Somehow the racist stage passed me by. Makes me wonder about Farage's parents.
Guess I need to be proud of myself for not having had a wildly racist/fascist stage as a teenager and just having been a run of the mill moron being ultra dramatic about interpersonal whatever; like, apparently it can't be assumed we didn't all go through a wee ~reckless Hitler fanboy phase.

She might note that the Epistle to Timothy also says women shouldn't braid their hair, should remain silent & submissive to men.
