It is ridiculous that staff have been left to deal with these extreme pressures for years on end.

Jeane Freeman’s passing brings me profound sadness.
As Health Secretary during the pandemic, she and I spoke almost every day. She always sought to include us in govt thinking.
Her decisive actions will have undoubtedly saved a lot of lives.
