In the budget, Scottish Liberal Democrats secured £4.5m for specialist long Covid support.
For years long Covid sufferers would have been better off moving to England due to the lack of support in Scotland, with this new funding I am hopeful we can begin to turn the corner.

Air absolutely crushed their performance at the Big Top stage, Fringe by the Sea at North Berwick tonight. Moon Safari from start to finish and then a mix of absolute bangers, highlights of which- Don’t be light and closing out to Electronic performer. Flawless musicianship.

Absolutely amazing visit to Barnton R4 Nuclear Bunker today. The biggest in Scotland being lovingly restored by a community of volunteers, several of whom live on site.

Waits for a driving test are far too long because bots and scammers are buying up test spots before people can book them.
Both test centres in Edinburgh are seeing waits of 24 weeks.
The DVSA have put in place additional measures but now we need to see waiting times cut.

Yesterday I joined Open Seas in a snorkelling trip off North Berwick, to survey some of the natural reefs off the East Coast and to discuss how we get the balance right as custodians of our oceans whilst keeping our vital fishing industry sustainable. Such a great day.
