Keep in mind these guys (the GOP) put a hemp ban into the continuing resolution bill that Schumer caved on because weed is the scary 80's black people drug that reagan no like.

This is why I refuse to be morally shamed by these people.

Summers has always been a shithead and even with this will probably still appear like clockwork on tv news braying on about inflation (wrong 99% of the time, then the one time he was right over Covid was praised as some sort of mystical clairvoyant - by the way everybody got that one right)

He was around for Trump's first term. I think he was a donor and eventually worked in RNC finance.

Someone needs to hold these buffoons accountable.
He ordered the immediate release of 13 people whose detention clearly violated those rules, and directed the government to review roughly 615 additional cases involving individuals who aren’t subject to mandatory detention to determine whether they should also be released.

Amen.
As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

Look, I know we’re all rightfully pissed about the current Epstein stuff, but you should really set aside some time and read this piece. There’s a reason “mitigating the effects of climate change” is one of my key policy positions.

New York Times social media guidelines prohibit expression suggesting partiality on things like ICE, execution of foreigners in fishing boats, or whether law is a thing.

However, tipping off notorious serial pedophiles about other reporters is absolutely fine.

there was no permitting process, I'm sure. Contracting was probably in violation of the FAR as well.

Me either. Trump never does this. In NYC he worked with the mob to get around all kinds of regulations. I'm sure he has his methods here.
Has anyone investigated the permitting and bid process? I can't believe they met requirements.

Maybe all of their projects deserve a second look

Trump doesn't bother with laws and our courts do not hold him accountable.
People might also ask them if they are doing asbestos & lead remediation to protect the public & workers bc I guarantee you both are in the FDR constructed East Wing.

He lied about not touching the White House. This ballroom will be an abomination. Just look at what he's done to mar a Lago. It's not the elegant place it once was.

When Trump is over and we finally have a public accounting of what has transpired, we are going to find that Trump and his cronies have lined their pockets with taxpayer money and his off the books spending (not approved by congress) has bankrupted our country.
Federal workers aren’t getting paid, but of course Kristi Noem gets two private jets costing taxpayers $172 million.

Nothing new from the people who are also sending $40 billion to Argentina while refusing to fund our own government. Shameful.

I agree I want the White House back. He's treating this as he owns the people's house. This is blasphemous.
When this is over, no matter the effort and no matter the cost, we tear down Trump's ballroom and restore the White House to the way it was.

And then we take a wrecking ball to Mar-a-Lago.
