To all the rando opportunists farming for mutual follows and humping my leg about crypto or other commercial opportunities, I am not the droid you are looking for.
You could say they have boundary issues.
The US accidentally invaded Mexico on Monday, storming a beach and planting DoD “restricted area” signs claiming the land for “the commander,” triggering a standoff w/ armed Mexican security forces, all because Trump’s government can’t even identify a border on a map

Warning signs appear on Mexican beach declaring area restricted by U.S. as Mexico rejects Trump offer to strike cartels
The signs read in English and Spanish, "Warning: Restricted Area," and had been declared restricted by "the commander."

Not even Gilded. Glittered. This is the Glittered Age.
I was told this was The Gilded Age.

So far this year, employers have cut 1.1 million job cuts, a figure in line with the Great Recession. Layoffs are up 65% over last year, per Reuters. October alone saw more than 153,000 cuts—a 183% jump from the previous month.

Home Depot would like immigrants abducted to the camps, and they would also like this to not affect their business. This is the sort of Kindergartener-level magical thinking every large company is engaging in at the moment, especially mainstream media.

Thoughts and prayers, my friends, happeneth to all.
She is in the FA phase now.
I’m sure there will be a lot more of this. People need to feel the direct consequences of their vote. Otherwise, they will keep repeating and believing the lies.

Hold up. A Potemkin agreement calculated to paper over a century of grievance bursts into flame when exposed to the light? Get the fuck outa here.

I’m certain all of the MAGA that drove past our No Kings protest today are crying themselves to sleep tonight. They are far outnumbered and will from this day forward be scared shitless of ANTIFA. We are ANTIFA and we will not stop coming for you! Sweet dreams, you cowards and bigots. #NoKings

To say nothing of the morale boost!
Ah yes, air traffic controllers must show up for work without pay, but Congress can take the day off. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says he’ll be making “necessary cuts” to the department, because nothing fixes staffing shortages quite like firing more people.

This seems like an intramural squabble I don't want to get in the middle of.

But I'll hold their coats.
In addition to gifting Trump a jet, Qatar is building a $5.5 billion Trump golf resort in Qatar, are major investors in two Trump developments in Saudi and Oman, among other things.

but he's doing plenty more to improve HIS life
Walz on Trump saying he's not familiar with Melissa Hortman's assassination: "Nothing surprises me. There's no compassion, there's no empathy in this man, and there's no sense of governing for the whole country ... he's doing nothing to improve people's lives."

Ixnay on that Eacepay IzePray.
Will is right. This is Trump saying he can kill people whenever he wants, with no legal justification.
Trump's never going to get to heaven like this!

Tuesday's cold-blooded strike on a boat in the Caribbean that murdered 11 people has zero legal justification, but that's not the worst part. He's sending a message that a dictatorial POTUS has no limit

That screw isn't just loose; the threads are stripped.
“When were you lying, sir?” Asked my colleague Tina Smith of RFK Jr., “When you told this committee that you were not anti-vax? Or when you told Americans that there’s no safe and effective vaccine?”

Kennedy replied, “Both things are true.”

That’s a double scream: 😱 😱

Is DHS suffering from a shortage of trained snipers? How often does DHS deploy snipers, anyway? How many do they really need?
Scoop: A sudden no-bid ICE contract for specialized sniper training has gone to a decorated former Marine who is also the brother of a GOP lawmaker.

Reached by WIRED, he says there was no hookup; 20 years in a reconnaissance unit and even more as an instructor simply left him uniquely qualified.
US Congressman’s Brother Lands No-Bid Contract to Train DHS Snipers
DHS says retired Marine sniper Dan LaLota's firm is uniquely qualified to meet the government’s needs. LaLota tells WIRED his brother, GOP congressman Nick LaLota, played no role in the contract.

Nothing fails so reliably as prayer.
POPE LEO: “Let us plead God to stop the pandemic of arms, large and small, which infects our world.”

He prays for the victims in Minneapolis, and “the countless children killed and injured every day around the world”
