When the call to "protect women" is actually just a call to demonise trans people, the cause of *actually* improving women's lives is harmed.
For what it's worth my sports take is that
- sports is actually a massive way in which women are excluded from physicality and fitness, systematically across the board
- this happens by sadistic assholes traumatising young women in schools who will not grow up to be athletes

With Labour boasting about delivering Tory policies, what's the point of Westminster?

"Ongoing problem getting worse" ugh why do we keep talking about the ongoing problem??
'No-one is talking about young men' increasingly occupies the same space as 'we need an honest conversation about immigration'. We never shut up about young men. It's one of the only things we ever talk about, although admittedly only ever to say 'we need to be more reactionary'.

Labour voters with buyer's remorse, it's important you understand that this was always going to happen. This is who they are. And they believe they have a mandate for this, because they showed us all who they are and got voted in anyway.
This is shocking. ITV reporting that even those with extreme disabilities in the unfit to work category are likely to lose money under new government plans. Charities have branded the move catastrophic

This is simply the GIGO principle, well established in computer science: garbage in, garbage out. Every automated system is subject to it, including AI ones. The real danger here is in people believing that LLM outputs are inherently credible. Their outputs are only ever as credible as their inputs.
A Moscow-based global ‘news’ network has infected Western AI tools with Russian propaganda: AI chatbots — including OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o, xAI’s Grok, Mistral’s le Chat, Anthropic’s Claude, Google’s Gemini, & Perplexity’s answer engine have been affected. www.newsguardrealitycheck.com/p/a-well-fun...

Scottish child poverty is expected to fall from 24% in 2021/22 to around 19.8% by 2029. This decline is attributed to specific SNP policies like the Scottish Child Payment, which increases to £27.15 per child per week from April.

England is forecast to be 30% and Wales 34% by 2029.
