I think a lot of what is driving the corporate acceptance of slop is that there's a lot of product managers and producers who don't have a creative bone in their bodies, but this process allows them to role play like they are creatives.

Happy Thanksgiving!
This is the first year I have hosted Thanksgiving and I think we nailed almost everything! Everything was delicious 😋 but dang if the store bought pies didn’t disappoint. I am going to have to make them myself next year!

Genuinely the anouncment trailer for Marathon had me salivating for a game in ways i hadn’t in over a decade… and now im just kinda wondering if its even worth playing if i get it for free. I want to try it, i want to love it, but dang if I am struggling to care at this point.
the fact that i can see footage of a shooter that plays like halo and looks like mirror's edge and think "oh yeah there's no way i'm buying this" is genuinely impressive

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

On Saints Row we had a debug npc named Skinballs (lol) that was literally just four spheres wrapped in different shades of skin texture so we could test lighting for different skin tones during development. But teams need to plan for that kind of testing with intentionality, and not enough do.
