I know people joke about the fact that silksong had a Marketing & PR guy in the credits, but the funny thing is that "say nothing" actually was the 100% correct tactic once it became a meme, & it actually does take an amazing amount of restraint to stick to that lol

Took a look at The End is Nigh's control rebinding menu and lmao we definitely forgot to pretty that one up before release

most annoying part about control rebinding menus is "what happens if they fuck up their binds so much that they cant navigate back to the menu to reset to defaults"
on kb+m its fine, I can just lock left click and ESC as un-rebindable.

One of the lessons that I remember taking some time to learn at the start of my professional gamedev career was that if I'm hiring an artist or musician, it can't be because I want them to take what's in MY brain out and put it into the game.

I liked the battle royale structure for shooter games. I couldn't care less about the extraction shooter structure. It's stupid how multiplayer shooters find like one new game mode a decade and then milk only that until people are tired of it.

I know you guys are getting very excited about the upcoming release of Mewgenics in February, but PLEASE do not cryogenically freeze yourselves to make the wait feel shorter. The technology is unproven and dangerous. we need you alive to buy the game

I think nintendo got too scared when "some people didn't like the backtracking in prime 1 & 2" and ended up cutting out like the entire defining aspect of the series in future installments. fundamentally misunderstanding why people like these games
