Sounds like I have to sacrifice an Xbox controller or similar. Wouldn’t you know it, I just gave away an OG 360 controller that would’ve been good for this.

Yeah that rattle is a piece that broke off inside. It’s the button on the board that’s pushed by the L1 button.
Definitely remap it to one of the back buttons!

This is exactly the issue. So maybe I could fix it but it's a tougher job than I'd hoped!

Unfortunately it was the button that's pressed on the daughterboard that's busted. The button itself is fine.

So that's a bummer, but at least I can just remap L1 to one of the back buttons so it's not crippled.

A while back my Steam Deck fell just a couple of feet (the bag it was in fell over) and the L1 shoulder button stopped working. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on how to fix it, got my soldering iron all set to go, and opened it up... only to find that the part is super busted and not fixable.

My 10-year-old is getting *deep* into Mewgenics (with the cat sex turned down). It’s really fun having him run into the room to tell me about the combos he had during his run.

I swore off TurboTax a couple of years ago after it completely botched nanny taxes. We tried to do everything above board and it made us wish we hadn’t.

Wow, @tylerglaiel.com and @edmundm.bsky.social are already fixing the info visibility issues I called out in my Mewgenics review, some of them before launch. I already had so little to complain about in this game!

Finished up Fallout season 2. I sure like their confidence that there will be a season 3!
Overall, really good stuff. They’re doing a good job of keeping mostly within the lore and also telling a stand-alone story.
