I've seen a little confusion online about this (I thought it was obvious), but in the U.S., salaried employees generally get paid the same amount no matter how many hours they work. Hourly employees (typically lower-level positions at game studios) get paid extra for overtime.

The new game Dispatch, from former Telltale directors, is yet another 2025 indie banger. It's funny as heck, with top-notch writing and gorgeous art. I'm two episodes in and they're on par with Telltale's best work (aka: Tales from the Borderlands). And the cast, good lord!
