People still default too often to the fact that Trumps base won’t care about one revelation or another. But as elections keep showing us, the universe of people other than his base is much bigger and we do care. So exposing shit does matter and it’s worth sharing those things so others oppose him.

We must demand better. Not Gavin Newsom, who snatches the belongings of unhoused folks and plays paddy cake with Steve Fucking Bannon. Not Rahm Emanuel, who covered up a murder, closed 50 schools, and shuttered half of Chicago's publicly funded mental health clinics. We need new and better politics.

I finished Blood in the Machine about 2 weeks ago. Comes with my highest recommendation! I learned so much and enjoyed how well the history ties into what’s happening right now.

I finished Blood in the Machine about 2 weeks ago. Comes with my highest recommendation! I learned so much and enjoyed how well the history ties into what’s happening right now.

I mean I was on Instagram Reels for about 5 minutes and started seeing videos of Asheville and North Carolina. I would probably not want to browse people’s online history that are not exposed to the devastation.
I’ve seen many people of various political persuasions say that they’ve seen very little or no coverage of the devastation in Asheville. That may be so, but it’s not really an indictment of the media as much as it’s an indication that your media diet in particular is fucked.
