I don't think we understand just how bad the decline of the Internet is to knowledge.
3 years ago, I could perform a very basic search in any engine and get an absurd number of relevant links, research articles, etc.
Today, I can perform the same search and find absolutely nothing.

I installed a camera to see what was going on with our water feature that kept being taken apart at night (I recently filled it with rocks with a central fountain so it wouldn’t be constantly muddy), figuring I’d see a raccoon. I hadn’t expected an all-night pool party! 😂

Please read this thread. There will be a challenge here, a la Mitt Romney running to privatize Medicare, where many people simply don’t believe any leader would do anything so despicable. But it’s true, and critically important we insist it’s true to skeptics.
It's getting a lot of attn today. But even before today most of the country had very little idea of what has happened at NIH or through it the entire ecosystem of biomedical research in the US. Simply put, Musk, Kennedy & Trump exploded a bomb right in the middle of cancer cure research in the US.
