The Front Burner episode on the future of the NDP was so frustrating. Martin Lukacs made great points about the party needing moral clarity and how that will have to come at the expense of the corporate class only for Cheryl Oates to complain about demonizing businesses and not going too far left.

"You see, if people don't agree with me, it's because they're too stupid to understand the issue" is an interesting position to take.

Be kind to a someone today. Everyone is walking around scared. Some are right on the edge and others push it to their unconscious but no one is immune. This plane has all the makings of hell but it can be the opposite when we connect with each other

In a deeply racist, classist and queerphobic carceral state, felonies themselves aren’t inherently bad or markers of evil. It’s the details of the crime that tell the story. Be more specific about what makes the fascist bad.

My last Alberta tweet for a long time. If they're going to label Nenshi as a socialist anyways, he should lean into a socialist platform full of policies that have already proved to be *extremely popular* - do the opposite of promising no deficit spending. Go big or you're going home.
