Is it impressive being better at hide and seek than a 5 and 8 year old? I don't know.
Am I proud of it anyway? Absolutely.
My kids do not know how weirdly competitive I can be (because of my immense shame surrounding it) and my high tolerance for discomfort.
So... thanks, childhood trauma?

Since I can't believe that @kaine.senate.gov is naïve enough to believe that the GOP will keep their promises, I believe that he is benefitting in some other way. I wonder who would benefit most from the shutdown ending 🤔

It’s not that we didn’t want the shutdown to end, it’s the fact that millions of people suffered throughout this shutdown and it was for nothing. That’s the most upsetting part.
