Have taken the time to read this *extraordinary* 161p ruling by Federal Judge William Young. Absolute must-read to understand the full extent of Trump regime's depravity and lawlessness, the steep extent of 🇺🇸 descent into authoritarianism & the enabling role of integrity-free Roberts Court
Judge William Young ruled on Tuesday that Marco Rubio and Kristi Noem’s student deportation effort violates the First Amendment, but he also had important messages for Donald Trump, John Roberts — and all Americans.

At Law Dork, I explain.
Judge William Young's ruling against Rubio and Noem is a lesson for all in the Trump era
Young lays bare the unconstitutionality of the Trump administration's student deportation efforts — and issues a challenge to America. Also: More court pushback.

This is crazy
Wait: so the President of the United States shared a video of a fake news report, rooted in a conspiracy theory, that features an AI-generated version of himself promoting a policy that…doesn’t exist?
Trump tonight appears to have pushed the false "medbed" conspiracy theory, which has spread in the far-right internet over the years. www.yahoo.com/news/qanon-c...

The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe. Will we listen to his words today?

Interesting tax work around for nursery fees that will be hard to plug.
As one of the UK’s leading sleep-deprived obsessives on nursery fees… I’m not sure people without small kids know about a blatantly scammy tax trick that’s spreading fast.

People are paying nursery fees out of pre-tax income on the condition parents pretend to “help manage” the nursery.

BLOOMBERG: “.. The trade is at risk of falling apart as borrowing costs for the world’s biggest economies soar, diminishing the returns in US government debt against the swaps. That’s a problem for hedge funds and other traders who piled into the bet in recent weeks ..”

Another example of the media not reflecting public sentiment
You wouldn't know it from today's newspaper front pages screaming "betrayal", but new YouGov polling finds that 66% of British people now want the Government to deliver a closer relationship with the EU, compared to just 14% who don't
