The folks who work in the hazardous waste drop-off part of my local WM site are always so proud of you for bringing stuff where you're supposed to. They'll gas you up about it every time.
Took some old americium smoke detectors to hazardous materials disposal and the fellow on duty decided that merited the Fist Bump of Safety.

I am so so happy to pay a little bit more these days because I can do it now and there was a time when I truly could not. But it still really cheeses me that people with wealth greater than many countries contribute less than I do to the public coffers. That's who OWES US ALL.
Rachel Reeves says on Laura Kuenssberg that she's asking working people to pay a little bit more.

I don’t think many people realize how infinitely complex the human brain is and the difficulty level of many of the basic tasks it performs in relation to interacting with the world. With less data in less organized blocks than any LLM has ever received, human toddlers can speak multiple languages.

I started following several Québécois accounts recently because I'm learning French but like school French, y'know. Anyway the algorithm is having a meltdown now and trying to recommend all my usual interests but from non-English-speakers which is how I ended up on Latvian polka-tok.

They also can't be hung on the existing signposts!!!! In theory the province is supposed to provide appropriate posts but like...when?
If you have to make the warning signs taller than a human in order for drivers to pay attention to them, it doesn't speak very highly about drivers' ability to spot pedestrians.
