The anti trans/queer rhetoric & anti abortion rhetoric are connected. It's a huge push to strip anyone of their rights to public life, who doesn't conform to the "gender norms" of religious based oppression.
These anti-trans attacks are designed to get at more than bathrooms. Where else will it be unlawful to be trans, gender nonconforming, or queer in public?
How long until sex segregation like this removes cis women from public spaces too?
