I try to avoid thinking that borders on conspiracy theory-adjacent, but my god this Senate vote. Exactly enough votes to pass, none of the party-line breakers up for election until 28 or already retiring, and one of the breakers is the minority whip. Would a controlled opposition vote differently?

Immensely frustrating that reasoning like this is why recommending some of my favorite games has to have an asterisk attached saying "sorry, the only official way to play this is to spend like $300+ on 20+ year old hardware and titles." This is why piracy and emulation are good, actually.
