Remember: Trump or Russian propagandists might say otherwise, but Putin is not winning, and the Ukrainians are not losing.
I am told that internal Ukrainian army information shows that more than 26,000 Russian soldiers were killed or critically wounded in the month of November. Confirmed by videos. No wonder Putin wants to get Trump to give him territory for free

The American public elected a president and administration who whether they knew it or not was intent on dismantling the very things that made America the economic and cultural envy of the world. That is the story of Trump 2.0.

Expressing solidarity with a settler colonial nation state through the lens of liberal integrationism grows more tiresome by the day I have to be honest.
If I may be a contrarian here I'd argue that the victory of a democratic socialist is not "like a spiritual Kristallnacht."

Fetterman has turned into Kyrsten Sinema!

I remember that when he ran in the 2022 Dem Primary as a progressive, he said no more Joe Manchin's for Senate. 🥴

In the defenseless state that Israel is going to leave behind Iran, the real challenge we may face in the future is not that Iran might try to make the bomb again. The challenge of the future might just be to convince Pakistan, Azerbaijan, the Taliban, Saudis, or UAE, to not go on an "adventure".

The last 3 years have made nuclear proliferation a far more attractive option to a lot of countries. Doesn't matter what happens in Iran. Frankly I would not oppose it if Sweden, Poland, Turkey, or Ukraine would now pursue the bomb.

That’s right. They want Mexican Americans to be ashamed of being Mexican. They’re leaning on the implicit racist belief of white people - including too many liberals - that Mexican heritage makes someone presumptively dangerous or criminal. It’s nativism and we shouldn’t give them one single inch.
They’re attacking latinos, flying the Mexican flag is about not bowing down to racists and the fascist administration it’s not about being proud to be “American” it’s about being proud of the things they are trying to demonize about you.
