The main Oryx loss lists for the war in Ukraine have been updated so that they are easier to navigate (much less scrolling) - each equipment now has collapsed listing of individual losses, so you can expand the details just for those you are interested in.

Many replies to this assert Putin wants to smash NATO, which is what a US move on Greenland would do. But from the most cynical perspective, there are other, cheaper ways to gut NATO without a dramatic breach. Wouldn't Putin prefer a shell NATO to the unpredictable forces a breach would unleash? 1/
What is just crazy about this, aside from the need for this statement at all, is that Greenland already IS in the US sphere of influence. It's far cheaper for the US, in material, security, and reputational terms, to have Denmark continue administering Greenland and work within NATO on security.
Joint Statement of major EU/NATO countries on Greenland, together with Denmark:

Worth mentioning, it point of orgini was Iran, then to Venezuela were it didn't land. Then name and flag change to russian. Then blockade busting. Then across the Atlantic towards Baltic Sea and russia. And now this? What ever it is, empty shadowfleet tanker eint it
More footage of the pursuit of the Russian tanker. According to Reuters, the vessel, linked to Venezuela, was pursued across the Atlantic for more than two weeks.

It should be hit from both sides. Musk/Twitter and the prompt writers. By law of averages a few of them will live in California or wherever US has actual working State jurisdiction left. Share data with countries working in criminal charges (🇫🇷, 🇮🇳, 🇲🇾, 🇦🇺)

Blue marks, so very easy to identify
im not gonna post the others here for obvious reason but the next ones in the thread go:

Threatening to disconnect Elon Musk's X in Europe would be unprecedented, but it might be time to play that card
Musk Won’t Fix Grok’s Fake AI Nudes. A Ban Would
When Julie Yukari posted a New Year’s Eve photo in a red dress with her cat, she didn’t expect X users to tag Grok asking it to undress her. Within hours, nude AI-generated images of her had spread across the social-media website — without her consent and without consequences.

These are small cities, under 20k pop but in both cases part of local security forces switched sides which looks promising
Protesters in Iran have seized two cities. Residents of Abdanan and Malekshahi have pushed out security forces and are celebrating their victory.

As Putin roots for chaos, Trump's actions in Venezuela and Greenland are the product of a long-running russian influence campaign that began during his first term

We find that Trump's current moves against Venezuela and Greenland have roots in a long-running Russian influence campaign intended to provoke these outcomes.

What I find particularly remarkable is how so much American debate seems oblivious to how much the foundations of US global power is dependent on access to infrastructure, bases and depots in Europe and Canada
Walk through what that 'mask off' world looks like: Europe accelerates rearmament, functioning as an independent power bloc - to which the United States' neighbors, threatened by our bullshit, will want to realign, creating flash-points for potential trans-Atlantic Big Boy Wars. 4/

Security guarantees may have been agreed, but none of those allies will give the biggest security of all - to help Ukraine win the war, while ignoring the fact Putin won't stop.

Its about minerals in Greenland? In Trumps fever dream maybe, in reality physics and economics win. Thread via @CRUDEOIL231.

Exploring and mining in the Arctic is a literal hellscape. The constraints are insane and the costs to overcome 'em are mooning way past imagination. 1/

There's a crowd on here that's gonna go "oh ho ho cope military mindlessly follows orders they're going to mow us all down blah blah blah" to this, but no, you actually will get a bunch of "I'm sorry what the fuck" to an order to strike/invade Danish territory
I think the natural restrictor plates to military action are way more permeable in cases of Iran and now this because it’s broadly aligned with what hawkish natsec/mil types have wanted to do for decades.
