The AI bubble may be about to bust.

Peter Thiel has sold all of his Nvidia stock.

We all need to say this very clearly:

NO BAILOUTS FOR THEFT-TECH!

Expropriate their asses instead.

They stole from all of us and fully plan to burn the planet.

They owe us - not the other way around. 1/3

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

As a former federal prosecutor who focused on sex trafficking cases, it is true that there is a “difference” between criminals who traffic 15 year olds and criminals who traffic 5 year olds. One gets a greater sentence than the other. Both are aggravated felonies with a 15 year mandatory minimum.

The forward visibility from a Range Rover is worse than that from an Abrams tank. SUVs are lethal in collision with pedestrians and much more dangerous than ordinary cars in collision with anything else.
They’re a means of reducing their drivers’ risk by making life more dangerous for everyone else
Leading medical publication the British Medical Journal recognises SUVs as a danger to public health in a new editorial co-authored by T&E’s James Nix: bit.ly/4hVDlBC

Large SUVs are a danger to pedestrians, cyclists & other drivers.

It's time to take action to reduce their presence in urban areas.

And this is why extremists - those who want to “flood the zone with shit” want to destroy the BBC. As long as there is a single, commonly accepted source of objective fact, it is much more difficult to build a mass grouping like MAGA, who are motivated by their distorted view of reality.
Quick thread on the BBC and the political and societal significance of recent developments:

One of the main reasons the UK has historically been so much less polarised than the US, is that Britain has a shared source of information, consumed and trusted by most people regardless of their politics.

A bit of international context illustrates the real issue here.

U.S. stocks have dramatically underperformed other advanced economies.
