This is my first attempt to explain why I joined the @libdems.org.uk after a lifetime supporting and sometimes member of the Labour Party. It’s about where the party could be in a few years time. Comments welcome.

They stayed silent because it wasn’t their problem. That’s how injustice wins, not by force, but by the quiet approval of those who look away.

The system doesn’t need to break you. It just needs you to do nothing while it breaks others. And when it’s your turn, no one will be left to fight for you.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Nobody is celebrating President Trump and Vice President Vance’s embarrassing behavior in the Oval Office more than Vladimir Putin. Today was a distressing moment for those of us who value democracy and America’s role as a force for good.

It is my sincere hope that the whole political spectrum in the United Kingdom will speak with one voice in opposition to Trump’s lies.

I've no idea why Trump is being treated as an appropriate broker at all.

If this peace negotiation were serious, it would treat Trump as an intermediary of Putin and allow the EU to act as the intermediary for Ukraine.

It's a farce that anyone in the international community treats Trump otherwise.

The Daily Mail is owned by the 4th Viscount Rothermere, passed on from 3rd, 2nd & 1st Viscounts. It’s been a tool of hereditary power & privilege undermining our democracy.

During Covid lockdown, if you had family round on Christmas Day the police could force their way into your home and make them return to their own homes.
Does anybody know if this service is still available and, if so, do you have to book it?
