Let me tell you about the other Epstein files the Trump administration is STILL HIDING — records that aren’t affected by the bill Congress passed today.

I firmly believe this.
Mental health professional here, depends on many things, but “the pandemic and how we never addressed what that was like in any real way” is near the top of my list
Question for mental health professionals and not astrologers: why is everyone being fucking insane right now

If this is what they are doing with the AI, what do you think they are doing with the much simpler and easier to control algorithm that chooses which posts you see and which of your posts are seen by others?

We just watched the 1991 James Spader/John Cusack film “True Colors.” There’s a part at the end where Spader’s Justice Dept. boss tells him:

“You signed on to Justice all full of fire to set things right. And you’re good. But until tonight, it never cost you. You don’t own it until it costs you.”

Just in time for that trillion dollar Elon Musk pay package.
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Bucks County at this point, and I think its reputation as a bellwether is well deserved. The vibes felt pretty ominous when I was there last November, so this is notable.

The big county I was waiting for in New Jersey, Passaic County, which is 42% Hispanic. We have 95% of the vote in and this is what it will end up:

2020 President: D+16
2024 President: R+3
2025 Governor: D+15

There is a ton of evidence that Hispanics in 2025 shifted hard back to Democrats.

The thing I find so fascinating and pernicious about the AI bubble is that it appears to be both papering over the shakiness of the economy and providing cover to companies who are conducting hiring freezes or mass layoffs—ostensibly because of AI, but I think more likely out of economic pessimism.
