the fun thing about living in Florida is that we can drive to Disney or the beach pretty trivially. the less fun thing is that our state government is actively trying to kill my kids in ways far beyond this one very obvious way that they're trying to kill my kids.

I'm really far removed from my horror convention scene days, but the TROMA folks were always some of my favorite people to run into. They're known for extreme and purposefully provocative (read: offensive) art, but they were always deeply kind and genuine. Halloween people are the best people.
