It’s wild being in your childhood bathroom looking in the mirror and thinking of that scared little girl nearly 50 years ago and what she saw, and didn’t see, in the mirror as you look in it.
(Not the same physical mirror, it was replaced once in that time)

I stopped to take this picture while biking yesterday (it’s the church used in the movie Dogma) and today one of the friends we’re visiting said she drove past me on this street and was surprised when she realized the cyclist was me and thus I was in town 🤣

Movie that’s supposed to be set near Philadelphia where the license plates on the cars are literally printouts, which you can tell by the fact that they’re *wrinkled* in one of the shots.

When I was in high school, my bus used this street. I looked at the excessive width and pushed, to no one who mattered, for bike lanes.
Only took another 30 years and for me to move away 😔
