The Iraq playbook is back & the media won’t question it.

Iran has no nuclear weapons. Israel — on trial for genocide — does. Iran signed the NPT & allows IAEA inspections. Israel hasn’t — & its leaders face ICC arrest warrants.

Beware of politicians beating the drums of war.

scottish labour's latest attack line is "the snp want to spend money on a new prison for murderers" and i just want to know who in labour's comms office is on the snp's payroll because that's the most preposterous attack line for labour to make against another party i can ever conceive of

Labour's taste for biological extremism is both creepy and dangerous. 'Fat jabs' for the poor and chemical castration for sex offenders is the stuff of dystopian sci-fi. You cannot medicalise your way to good government

I wasn't the only one who was right but Scottish independence. We were warned Boris Johnson would be PM; we were warned the UK could leave the EU; we were warned about the rise of the far right and we were warned the UK would interfere in Scottish laws. Told that was all nonsense. It wasn't
What were you right about before everyone else?

(That doesn't have to be "everyone else in the whole world" btw, just among your people)

The Equality Act was passed in 2010, it was not the source of the social progress that led to it’s creation and it has not been the source for the progress that followed (nor has it protected us from regression).
The ruling today is a bump on the road towards trans liberation, not the end of it.

If Labour at Westminster can nationalise British Steel, why not the same for Grangemouth?
If it can fund London’s supercomputer, it can reinstate Edinburgh’s.
If it green-lights carbon capture in England, the north-east of Scotland must follow.

Scotland’s people deserve better.

The answer (thus far) is no.
