I don't have energy to be doom obsessed with the Tr*mp Administration's every move. We knew he was going to pick awful people to fill his cabinet. It's happening just the way we said it would.

genuinely rage-inducing to see leftists catastrophizing about police doom and how unsafe it is to protest under trump. yeah i thought it was dangerous too. that's why i didn't want this to happen: because i had committed to do this anyway.
Catastrophizing about cop brutality, catastrophizing about inflation, now an actual catastrophe is here & it's all excuses. I just don't get some people.
Last I checked zero protesters were killed when cops broke up the pro-Palestinian protest camps. Something like a couple dozen died in all of 2020, during massive protests. But these people like to think of protests as something violent & terrible because it makes them feel more consequential
