Never forget the reason for the season.
That it’s so dark we hold a party to fight the depression. If that’s what you’re feeling you’re not broken, it’s why we’re doing all this.

You can't use generative AI ethically because it's built on stolen work.

It's so interesting that in the name of practicality we are urged to avoid any practical action; in the name of redemption we are urged to exonerate people who have shown no interest in redemption; in the name of civility we are urged to overlook the cruelty of those who scorn all civility

When it happens, you're probably not even going to learn about it directly before you feel it in the air. You'll just hear car horns and cheering in the streets. You'll feel confused, annoyed. You'll check your phone. Huh, 41 new texts.

Quite simply I want to vote for someone who gets spiritual nourishment from being hated by billionaire sociopaths instead of yearning for their approval
i don't understand that any democrat is currently talking beyond "elect democrats next time!" and honestly i think this is going to take a total constitutional overhaul. executive power, the supreme court, the electoral college, hell even the senate. this all has to be locked down to stop this

PRAYER FOR THE YOUNG

May you find joy
May you slay what survived us
May you forgive what we could not
May you learn from your sorrow
May you forgive us for what we left you
May you find joy

May you survive
May you survive
May you survive

Thinking about the Cave of Hands, some of the art dating back to 7,300BC, where 25% of the hand prints are thought to be that of children. Imagining those people gently holding their child up to the cave walls, and using their tiny little hands as a stencil. Art = love = the human soul

Over the next few years, there is one question I plan to ask myself relentlessly, and to try to answer rigorously:

What can we build? What can we build with who and what we have that keeps us fed and housed and safe and still able to find joy?

I 100% would have used ChatGPT for homework when I was in school, because homework sucked ass. However, if I hadn't been forced to bullshit a lot of essays 15 minutes before class I wouldn't have learned that I enjoy writing. The moral is to destroy both ChatGPT and homework.
