Commentary: Any discussion about indigenous rights must go hand-in-hand with a reckoning over the British Empire’s impact on First Nation communities.
Shadow of the British Empire hangs over New Zealand's treaty debate
The controversy over one of the nation’s founding documents touches a raw nerve. The agreement has two versions, one in English and the other in Maori.

The history of BC's carbon tax includes plenty of details that are surprising and not widely known. That history is important cuz I think many who dislike carbon taxes things are opposed to things that are actually not true about them and in favour of things that are (but aren't obvious)
Good piece on the history of BC's Carbon Tax, and why we should shore it up rather than chop it down. Here's hoping it becomes foundational for an NDP-Green alliance and the province's future. www.biv.com/news/comment...
Opinion: History tells us that axing the carbon tax is a truly bad idea
B.C.’s carbon tax remains a model for affordability and climate action despite political attacks

people like thomas chatterton williams are so invested in making you believe NOT LISTENING TO HIM makes you a weakling, as if letting some loser tantrum at you every day demanding repeated rebuttals to all 2 ideas he has wouldn't be the most pathetic existence for someone who could do anything else

It’s amazing how the YIMBY movement basically has won complete victory in the discourse in California and yet we are still building homes at a rate so low it guarantees the housing crisis will continue indefinitely.
No one else has anything to add, so it appears we're done for the day!

As always, thanks for following along with me, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Free ebooks! I got mine but the servers are overwhelmed with all the orders so you might not be able to download everything right away.

There’s also a delay of a few hours when emailing them to yourself.
For the next two weeks, we’re offering ten free ebooks for getting free
